Our Team
Cut down on the materials you consume and the amount of waste you produce on a daily basis. Conserve, most importantly the products we will need and may have less of in the future (water, paper, food). Avoid impulse buying because this will increase your unnecessary waste which will have an impact on the planet and can be avoided. Cut down also and reduce carbon emissions which are the main cause of the global crisis of climate change. Reducing waste will reduce greenhouse gas emissions, save energy and create employment!
Reduce
Reusing is the act of finding items and utilizing them for another purpose, instead of throwing them away. This can be done by giving goods to a friend or family member when you're done with them, reuse food leftovers as part of a small snack or lunch, donating to charities or different types of organizations and recycling certain goods. Reusing goods is a key step to reducing waste and lessening the amount ending up in landfills. Items that are still in good condition are thrown out too often so it is very important to make this change.
Items that can be put in the recycling bins, should be put in the recycling bins (only after they have already lived their maximum life). It is very important however, to ensure that you can recycle the product/material before you do it. Take a look at this page to find out what can and cannot be recycled. When an item is recycled, they are usually placed into bales and sent to the relevant factories where they are made into new goods and given a new lease of life. This also reduces waste and the amount ending up in landfills.
Reuse
Recycle
The "Reduce, Reuse, Recycle" method is so well-known and also so simple that the importance of it as well as its simplicity has been forgotten. Its important to remember that the Reduce, Reuse Recycle method is one of the most important steps to combatting climate change.
